Portsmouth - Roland A. 'Ben' Benoit, 85, a resident of Hampton Beach, NH, passed away on Saturday, June 8, 2024 at the Portsmouth Regional Hospital in Portsmouth, NH.The son of the late Wilfred and Jeannette (Houle) Benoit, Ben was born and educated in Lawrence and was a 1957 graduate of Lawrence High School. He went on to attend Merrimack College in North Andover. Ben served in the Military Police in the United States Army Reserves. He retired from Wang Laboratories where he had worked as a Contracts Manager for over 20 years. Despite being French, Ben loved Irish songs and dancing. He loved his numerous trips to Ireland. Ben took great pride in his family, it was the most important thing in his life.Ben is survived by his wife of 64 years Helen M. (Bowler) Benoit, his children: Christopher and his wife, Karen of Methuen, MA, Patricia and her husband, Darrell Marroncelli of Hampton, NH, and James and his wife Jaime of Lawrence, MA. He is also survived by a sister, Carol Auerbach of Alabama as well as his grandchildren: David and his wife Kristen Marroncelli, Kristen and her husband Gabriel Vicente, and Nicholas Benoit, Hannah Benoit, Sean Benoit and Shane Benoit. He is also survived by great-grandchildren, Austin Marroncelli and Trip, Tyler and Benny Vicente, as well as several nieces and nephews.Relatives and friends are invited to attend a Funeral Mass on Monday, June 17, 2024, at 11:30 a.m. in St. Michael's Church, 196 Main Street, North Andover, MA. The Villages - Patricia F. Canney, 83, passed away on June 7, 2024. She was a beloved wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother who will be deeply missed by all who knew her.She was born in Haverhill, MA on February 28,1941, daughter of the late William and Frances (Weiand) Bramley. She enjoyed a wonderful home shared by her parents and grandparents and became an X-ray technician and worked in healthcare in the Merrimack Valley for 40 years. She thrived at teaching and supporting her coworkers in her management role.Pat settled in Atkinson, NH. She loved spending time with her husband Mike, camping, boating, traveling, and then more recently enjoying all the benefits of retirement in Florida. She loved family more than anything and has enjoyed watching her family grow. She leaves behind four children, 13 grandchildren and four great-grandchildren. She was always quick to smile and share in the festivities; she loved family events.In her free time, Pat enjoyed reading, cooking, ice skating, dancing, and visiting the beach. She was eager to share a story and to share her knowledge and compassion with others. She was an active member of her community, volunteering for various events, and the first to offer her time and skills to all who needed her help.Pat is survived by her loving husband, Bradford (Mike), a daughter, Michelle and her husband Joe, a stepson, Jeff and his wife Betty Ann, a stepson, Joe and his wife Lori, and a daughter, Melissa and her husband Dan. Atkinson - Annette I. (Poulin) Schloth, 91, of Atkinson, died peacefully at her home on Sunday morning, June 9, 2024.Born, raised and educated in Haverhill, she was the daughter of the late Joseph and Odelie (Lagasse) Poulin. She attended Saint Joseph Grammar School and was a member of the Haverhill High, School Class of 1949.Annette first worked at Mitchell's Department Store in downtown Haverhill and later as a hostess at the former Sawyer's Restaurant in Plaistow and finally retired from Lucent Technologies in 1997.A former longtime resident of Kingston, NH and Haverhill, MA, she was a member of All Saints Parish (the former Saint Joseph Parish). Following her retirement, she immersed herself in volunteer work for her parish, which included helping to maintain the cleanliness of the church, assisting in teaching CCD and working in the Thrift Shop. She also volunteered for the St. Vincent de Paul Societies of All Saints and Saint James Parish and at the Hannah Dustin Healthcare facility.A devoted mother, grandmother and great grandmother, Annette took great strength from her faith and attended daily Mass at her church or at St. Anne Church of Hampstead, NH and Holy Angels Church of Plaistow, NH. She enjoyed cooking for her family and creating a warm and inviting home for her children and their families.She will be sadly missed and lovingly remembered by two daughters, Linda M. Little and her husband Douglas, of Marshfield, MA, and Karen M. Schloth of Atkinson; two sons, William M. J. Schloth, Jr. and his wife, Roxanne, of Hampstead, and David M. Methuen - John J. "Jack" Wagenbach, 86 of Methuen, passed away on Wednesday, June 12, 2024, at The Nevins Nursing & Rehabilitation Centre in Methuen.John was born in Methuen on September 12, 1937, and was the son of the late Joseph and Jean (Buchan) Wagenbach.John was raised in Methuen and was a graduate from the Tenney High School in Methuen. After high school he worked as a salesman for United Liquors in Lawrence for twenty-nine years, until his retirement. John was a member of the Lawrence Elks, the Arlington Social Club, and the Gaythorne Knights of Columbus in Methuen, where he also assisted. In his free time, he enjoyed playing 45's and was an avid Boston sports teams fan.John will be deeply missed by his two daughters, Dyann Landry of Methuen and Donna McQueen and her partner, Mike Sefsick of Methuen; his granddaughter, Heather McQueen of Methuen; and three nieces, Lisa, Gretchen, and Brett Wagenbach. He is also survived by his godson, Mike McIntosh. Windham - Joan V. Tremblay, 91, passed away peacefully on June 11, 2024. She was born in Lawrence, MA to Emilien and Laura (Desrosiers) Levesque. She graduated from St Joseph's High School and went on to MacIntosh School of Business, where she learned to be a bookkeeper. She married and raised her family in Methuen, MA, where she resided for 60 years, before recently moving to Windham, NH. Joan will be remembered as a loving wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother. She is predeceased by her husband Paul E. Tremblay, her sisters Rita Cormier and Agnes Rousseau and her brother Raymond Levesque. Warwick - Mary L. (Shikrallah) Tremblay, age 85 and a longtime resident of Methuen, born in Lawrence, graduated from Bruce Elementary and Lawrence High School. She attended Mass. College of Art and graduated from Salem State College. Mary taught Art in Lawrence schools for 27 years, was a lifelong member of Grace Episcopal Church and an active member of the Lawrence Rod and Gun Club for many years. Quilting, painting and art projects were some of her interests.Mary Lou will be greatly missed by her two daughters, Susan l. Krieger, Warwick, MA, Anne E. Haverhill - Glen G. Mottram, 73 of Haverhill, passed away on Friday, June 7, 2024 at Massachusetts General Hospital in Boston. He was the beloved husband of Susan (McKenna) Mottram, to whom he was married for 54 years. Glen was born at the Clover Hill Hospital in Lawrence on May 29, 1951. He was the son of the late Leo and Rachel (Duchaneau) Mottram. He attended Lawrence Schools and graduated from the Greater Lawrence Vocational Technical High School. He then attended Northeastern University in Boston for advanced employment courses. He worked at Bolton-Emerson Americas in Lawrence for 11 years and then as a warehouse coordinator for DSM Coatings in Wilmington for 30 years until his retirement in 2013. Glen was a communicant at St. Patrick Parish in Lawrence. He was a member of the Concordia Club in Lawrence. He belonged to several drum corps for forty years. He enjoyed motorcycles, coin collecting, and sports, especially golf, fishing, and coaching Little League and Pop Warner football. He enjoyed his daily meetup at Heavenly Donuts with his crew and spending time with his grandchildren. Glen will be deeply missed by his wife, Susan Mottram. He was the loving father of his 2 sons, Glen Mottram II of Meredith, NH., and Ryan Mottram of Weare, NH. He was the cherished grandfather of Lillia, Kennedy, Austin and Zakk, Keyla and her husband Ricky of Haverhill, MA. He was the great-grandfather of McKenna and Skylar. He was the brother of Wayne Mottram, Allen Mottram, Gayle Mottram and the late Leo Mottram. Lyman - Roger "Rocco" Anthony DelliColli, 85, of Lyman, NH and Lawrence, MA, passed away on May 31, 2024. He was born in Lawrence on November 6, 1938, the son of the late Angelo and Barbara (Licciardi) DelliColli of Lawrence. He was a beloved husband and father and is survived by his loving wife, Pamela DelliColli of Lyman, NH, and his sons, Jeffrey DelliColli of South Hampton, NH and James Farr of Lyman, NH. Roger enjoyed the outdoors and loved playing jazz drums and chess. The family would like to acknowledge his service to his country -- he retired honorably from the U.S. Army as a disabled veteran. Methuen - Donna F. Das, 79, of Methuen, MA, suddenly passed away at Lawrence General Hospital on Sunday, June 9, 2024, surrounded by her loving family. Born on January 19, 1945, she was the daughter of the late Stanley and Gertrude (Mulligan) Das. A lifelong resident of Methuen, MA, she worked many years in the accounting department of Beacon Electric.Donna will be dearly missed and is survived by her loving son, Mark and his wife Joanne of North Andover, MA; brother, Stanley Das and his wife Mary Jane of South Carolina, as well as by her niece Andrea of South Carolina, nephew Eric and his wife Rana and their daughter Veneta of Connecticut, and several cousins. Lawrence - Ida A. (Celia) Pazzanese, 86, of Lawrence, MA, passed away peacefully on Monday, June 10, 2024, at Salemhaven Skilled Nursing and Rehabilitation Center. She was the daughter of the late Joseph and Ida (Guiffre) Celia and of the late Mary and Philip Concemi, who so proudly raised her.Born and raised in Lawrence, MA, Ida was a graduate of Lawrence High School, class of '55, following which she attended secretarial school. She was employed at Western Electric as an analyst and dedicated forty-two years of service.Outgoing by nature, Ida will be remembered for her friendly personality and steadfast positive attitude. In her free time, she enjoyed dancing and entered many local dance contests. She enjoyed travel, her favorite destinations were Hawaii, Italy, and New York City. Gloucester - Nana J. Dunn, 83, of Magnolia, MA formerly of Andover, MA passed away peacefully surrounded by her family on Saturday, June 1, 2024. Born in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, she was the daughter of William and Mary Ruth Garvin.Nana was predeceased by her husband, Deacon Daniel A. As a spiritual peacemaker and ordained minister, her work was a great part of her life. In her last chapter, she became an advocate for end-of-life choices, living out her beliefs. Methuen - Pauline Evelyn (Franco) Noel, of Methuen, born on July 19, 1930, in New York City, passed away surrounded by her loving family on May 6, 2024, at the age of 93.During her career, Pauline worked hard at The Bolta Company where she retired from, and then went on to serve as a Home Health Aid. Lawrence - Thomas M. Fichera Jr. a.k.a. (T-Man) 54 of Lawrence Mass passed away from Natural Causes on May 30th 2024.He was Born at Bon Secours Hospital in Methuen on June 20th, 1969. He went to the Voke Tech School and Auto Body was what he chose. For almost 10 years he worked at Giordanos Gas Station, and he most recently worked for Solo Cup.He is Survived by his (Brother) Mark (Bianca) Fichera of Lowell; (Sister) Leigh (Mike) Roy, His (4) Children. Tewksbury - Michael John Donahue, 74, passed away peacefully on June 5, 2024, at the Blaire House of Tewksbury. Born on May 26, 1950, at Fort Devens in Ayer, MA, Michael was the beloved son of the late Thomas F. Donahue and the late Blanche B. (Sadzewicz) Jabour. He was raised in Lawrence, where he graduated from Lawrence High School before proudly serving his country in the United States Marine Corps.Michael's life was marked by deep faith and resilience. A devoted member of the Trinity Church of the Nazarene in North Haverhill, NH, his spirituality was a cornerstone of his life. Michael loved taking long walks, and fishing, however his greatest joy was his family, particularly his "baby sister" and his siblings, he loved all the children. Michael's generosity was evident in the simple pleasures he shared with them, such as trips to Friendly's for ice cream, where his kindness extended to other families as well. An accomplished trumpet player, he enjoyed marching with the Eagles Band, showcasing his musical talents.Michael is survived by his loving siblings: Marilyn A. Farris and her husband Michael of South Ryegate, VT, Diane Donahue of Methuen, formerly of South Lawrence, Thomas Donahue, and his wife Darlene of Plaistow, NH, Susan Dolan and her husband Kevin of N. Andover, MA. Andover - Orazio Michael "Mike" Bellia, 92, passed away November 1, 2023, at High Pointe House in Haverhill, MA, surrounded by his loving family. Born on June 15, 1931, in Andover, MA, he was the son of the late Antonio and Carmela (Cavallaro) Bellia, the husband of the late Mary Frances "Fran" (LaRochelle) Bellia and brother of the late Rose Bellia.Mike spent most of his life on Greenwood Road in Andover, building a house next to his parents, where he and Fran spent 58 years together. A lifelong Catholic, he graduated from Central Catholic High School in 1949 and was the first in his family to attend college. Savage, 75, of Methuen, passed away at home on June 5, 2024, with his loving family by his side.Born and raised in Everett, MA, he was the son of the late Warren H., Sr., and Mary Elizabeth (Sullivan) Savage. Mike was a graduate of Everett High School, Class of 1967, after which he began working for a living. One of his favorite places was Polaroid, where he trained and learned so much about manufacturing, that he was soon instructing his new coworkers. Mike was a very happy loving person with a heart of gold. Through his life Mike had many jobs starting with a paper route, manual labor and highly skilled technician, including American Vending, Reebok and Polaroid till it closed. Byfield - Joseph "Joey" Tucker passed away due to injuries sustained in an automobile accident on June 3, 2024.He was born in Melrose, MA and grew up with his adoptive family in Byfield, MA. A recent graduate of Triton Regional High School, he was looking forward to attending aeronautical school with the hope of becoming a commercial pilot.Joey was a gifted athlete participating in many sports during his school years including baseball, downhill skiing and tennis. He was, like his Papa, skilled with all things mechanical and a whiz with technology of every kind. He'd become the family fix-it guy maintaining computers, cars, lawn mowers, even manning the grill.Joey was also a faithful caretaker of pets of all sorts, fish, lizard, cat and dog. He'd research the right way to care for them expertly. Cavanaugh on May 4, 1949, the daughter of the late James and Dorothy (Quinn) Cavanaugh.Susan grew up in Newtown, Connecticut and was the first in her family to go to college, graduating from Sacred Heart University as her class's valedictorian. She then entered the workforce at Travelers in Hartford, Connecticut, where she met Paul Elmore. Paul and Susan married on October 21, 1972, and remained married up until Paul's passing 45 years later in 2017.Susan lived a very full life, occupied by her professional work as an accountant, her family life as a wife and mother, and her various interests that included singing in the church choir at St. Matthew Parish, and tap dancing, which she enjoyed even into her 70s after two knee replacements! Even in her retirement years, Susan remained active with her grandchildren and as a member of her condo association's governing board. Boston - Brother Leonard F. Haley, SM, of Boston, died Tuesday, June 4, 2024 at Maristhill Nursing Home in Waltham. He was 84.Brother Leonard was born in Cambridge on July 11, 1939, a son of the late Leonard and Mary (McCullough) Haley, and was raised in Somerville. A year after graduating from Somerville High School he entered the Marist Novitiate in Staten Island, New York and received his first profession on December 8, 1959. His perpetual profession came four years later. He earned his bachelor's degree in religious studies at the University of Detroit.From there he embarked on a 60-year ministry with the Society of Mary. Fr. Leonard served the community in a variety of capacities as an administrator, pastoral and hospital ministries, and as a volunteer. He served at Notre Dame High School in Harper Woods, Michigan, Holy Name Parish in Detroit, Mount Carmel Parish in Methuen, Saint Anne Parish in Lawrence, Saint Joseph's Parish in Haverhill, Saint Lucy's Parish in Methuen and at the Marist homes in Framingham and in Boston. Haverhill - Robert (Bob) Fedorchuk, 92, of Haverhill, MA passed away peacefully with his wife and two daughters at his side, on June 6, 2024 after a period of failing health.He was born on August 30, 1931, son of the late Felix and Helen (Cortese) Fedorchuk.After graduating from the Haverhill Trade School, Bob enlisted in the United States Air Force serving during the Korean War. He was stationed in Greenland, which he loved to talk about. After completion of his Air Force Service, Robert worked as an Auto Body Repairman for several different Auto Dealerships. He then continued his career as a Model Maker at Raytheon. Continuing his love of automobiles, he attended the General Motors Institute in Flint, MI where he trained to become an adjuster for General Motors. After working for General Motors for several years, he managed several Auto Dealerships in the New England Area. He obtained his Bachelor's Degree from Fitchburg State University, and then went on to spent over 30 years as a teacher and Administrator at Greater Lowell Regional Vocational Technical High School, in Tyngsboro, MA, until his retirement in 2005.In his earlier years he loved to travel to the Islands, with his wife, Marge by his side, always returning sporting a great tan. His love of automobiles remained, going on to restore a Model T car and of course helping out any and all of those in need of car repairs. He then became interested in model ship building, and of course, each and every piece was precisely placed. Litchfield, NH & Andover - Raymond E. Nolin, a resident of Litchfield, New Hampshire, formerly of Andover, MA and beloved husband of the late Barabara A. North Andover - Richard "Dick" G. Munroe, 91, of North Andover, MA, passed away on Sunday, June 2, 2024 after a period of declining health, one month shy of his 92nd birthday.Dick was born in 1932 and raised in Andover, MA. He graduated from Punchard High School in 1950. He met the love of his life, Jane, at Punchard; they wed in 1952. Dick served in the United States Air Force from 1952 to 1956. During the course of his service, he and Jane lived in St. Louis, MO; and Oakland, CA. Upon his discharge from the Air Force, Dick and Jane moved to Burlington, MA with their infant son Don. Dick received his associate's degree from the Bentley School of Accounting and Finance in 1952, his Bachelor of Science from Suffolk University in 1962, and his Master of Business Administration from Fairleigh Dickinson University in 1967. He worked for Carter's in Needham, MA before moving to Oakland, NJ in 1963 to work for Lever Brothers in New York City. He and his family returned to Andover in 1967, where he began working at Western Electric. He retired from Western Electric in 1990. He fully retired in 1997 after a brief stint at the IRS.Dick loved spending time with his family more than anything. He was also an avid golfer, having achieved three holes-in-one. He was a long-time member at White Cliffs Country Club in Plymouth, MA while living in a condo on the 15th hole after retirement. Once Jane retired and the couple moved to Sagamore Beach, Dick golfed at Sandwich Hollows Golf Club daily. When they moved to a house on the Merrimack Valley Golf Club in Methuen, MA in 2009, Dick was a member there until 2019 at age 87. He loved golf because it allowed him to spend time with his son, son-in-law, and grandson, and he made many lasting friendships on the golf course. Besides golf, Dick enjoyed gardening, bowling, playing horseshoes, playing cards (bridge, whist, and 45's) and playing pool. He was able to enjoy these activities at Edgewood LifeCare Community in North Andover, MA, where he and Jane moved in 2016.Besides his loving wife of 71 years, Jane, Dick will be dearly missed by his son, Donald, of Nashua, NH; his daughter, Nancy Corsaro, and her husband, Frank, of Methuen, MA; his grandsons Matthew and Michael Corsaro, of Methuen, MA; and many nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his parents, Raymond and Kathryn, brothers Allan and Gordon, niece Diane Lavoie and nephew Bob Munroe.

Roland graduated from Central Catholic High School in 1947. He served in the U.S. Army during the Korean conflict. He worked as a pressman for the Lowell Sun until his retirement. Derry - Jerome "Jerry" Joseph Guerrin, 79, of Derry, NH, passed away on Friday, May 31, 2024, at Catholic Medical Center in Manchester, NH. He was born on April 26, 1945, in Brooklyn, NY, to the late Jerome and Edna (Lee) Guerrin. He graduated from St. Francis College, Brooklyn, NY. Jerry proudly served his country with the United States Army serving as a Military Police Officer in Korea during the Vietnam War. Upon his return home, he resumed working with the United States Custom Agency as a Special Agent Group Supervisor at SAC offices in NYC, Washington, D.C. and Boston. He was president of the New England Chapter of the Association of Former Customs & Homeland Security Special Agents. He will be missed by many and his stories will live on forever. Jerry was an active member of the Derry Salem Elks Lodge and participated in their pool leagues. Salem - Thelma Ann "Terry" (Terrio) McGreevy, 86, of Salem, NH (formerly Methuen, MA) passed away peacefully early Monday morning, June 3, 2024, at High Pointe Hospice House of Haverhill.Terry was born in Boston on August 11, 1937 and was the daughter of the late Peter H. and Theresa (Creighton) Terrio.Terry was the beloved wife of the late George McGreevy. She is survived by her two of her three children and six grandchildren, who affectionately called her "Grammy". Her children are Sheilagh McGreevy Shiepe (husband, Theodore Jr.), Michael McGreevy, who recently predeceased his mother, and Erin McGreevy Sullivan, (Husband, Ted.). Her grandchildren are George, Aidan, Casey and Brendan Shiepe, Kaitlyn and Michael Sullivan.She was raised in Portland, Maine until the passing of her father, when she was seven. She then moved to the Plains section of Lawrence with her mother, and also lived in St. Augustine, FL. She was a graduate of Lawrence High School, Class of 1955. After high school, Terry first went to work for Liberty Mutual, and then Dr. Morton B. Green. She later met her husband, George, at the Austin Guild Bowling League and danced many nights away at Bob White's in North Andover. She and George married in 1963 and settled in West Methuen to raise their family. She was an active participant in the Marsh School PTA, taught CCD for St. Monica's Parish, and was a volunteer driver for Meals on Wheels, along with being a Girl Scout leader.She established her role as a stay-at-home mother until George passed away in 1984. After his death, she worked as a site manager for Rockingham County Meals on Wheels until her retirement. She also earned an Associate degree in Human Services in 1988, Summa Cum Laude, from Castle College. She most enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren, reading voraciously, watching her favorite New England sports teams, vacationing at the beach, and doing crafts. She was an avid card maker and got so much joy from sending cards to friends and family. In today's terms, Terry was a maker. She was an accomplished seamstress, knitter, crocheter, and a beautiful folk art painter. Her hand-knitted sweaters were constantly requested as new baby gifts. During her retirement, she was also able to travel throughout Europe. She will be remembered for her kindness, wisdom, and her secret charitable giving. (Rogers) Martin, 87, widow of the late Jeno Martin, of Haverhill, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, June 5 at the Hannah Duston Healthcare Center.Born in Newburyport on April 20, 1937 she was the daughter of the late Leslie and Marcia (Knowlton) Rogers. She graduated from Newburyport High School and immediately followed her passion of becoming a nurse. She graduated from Melrose Wakefield Nursing School in 1958. Arline was the Director of Nursing for over 20 years for Whittier Health Network. She retired as director but was not ready to leave nursing and became a Case Manager until full retirement. She met many wonderful friends in the nursing field and stayed in touch with many of them.Arline loved to travel and enjoyed trips to Disney with her friend Joanne and as she would say, "one happy Island" of Aruba was her favorite destination. She loved the excitement and action at casinos and loved to play Keno. When she was not the life of the party, you could find her reading a good book or doing crafts like tole painting, cross stitch, knitting and crocheting. Arline was a woman of strong convictions, blessed with the ability and determination to get almost anything done. She was the driving force and guiding light for her family her entire life. She could not be sold on anything that didn't make sense, as she was driven by her common sense, character, and love of God to always steer the ship in the right directions.Arline had much love and dedication for her three children, seven grandchildren and 14 great grandchildren. Watertown - Chhoeunly "Chilly" Phoeung, 36, of Watertown & formerly of Methuen & Lawrence, passed away unexpectedly on Saturday, June 1, 2024, at Portsmouth Regional Medical Center. He was the son of Sopaul Phoeung Chhath and Rachana Neang. Born in Lawrence, Chilly and his family later moved to Methuen & he was a graduate of Methuen High School, class of 2006. A born creative type, he later attended MassArt where he received a bachelor's degree in graphic design. He was a successful graphic designer, most recently working as the art director for Kenzie Academy. Following graduation, Chilly remained in the Merrimack Valley area where he met his partner, Ryan. In 2020, they relocated to Austin, TX, where they lived happily for four years. In February of this year, they decided to return to Massachusetts & settled in Watertown. Chilly was an avid traveler. In 2015, he and his family went to Cambodia, a trip where he caught the travel bug. Since then, he and Ryan have traveled to Mexico, St. Lucia, Portugal, and several cities across America. With an appreciation for a well-prepared meal, Chilly was not embarrassed to tell you that he wasn't a cook, but in fact a food critic. Ryan loved to learn new recipes and Chilly loved to try them. Always one to take care of everyone in his life around him, he also enjoyed self-care, with a particular focus on his nails and skin. Chilly was a popular creator on social media, showcasing his love of all things plant related. Designing his own tattoos was another great love of his and he decorated his body with many beautiful pieces. Music was very important in his life; his favorite performer was Beyoncé, who he was extremely happy to have seen live in Houston last summer. Chilly and Ryan had recently lost their beloved dog and best friend, Pepper. We hope that they are together now. He was disciplined about keeping fit, and his trips to the gym were a part of his daily regimen. He was also an ardent spectator of all sports. In particular, he loved watching the New England Patriots with family or friends. Watching his children engage and compete on the field was a source of immense pride for Terry. He was a keen observer and had a critical eye for the intricacies of sport.As a lifelong gardener, Terry grew vegetables each summer and loved sharing his bounty with family and friends. She had worked as an Inspector at Western Electric prior to her retirement. She was a graduate of Pentucket High School, Class of 1967. Atkinson - Mary C. (Bruzzese) Minior, 68, of Atkinson, NH, passed away peacefully at Brigham and Women's Hospital after a brief illness, surrounded by her loving family. She was the wife of Thaddeus "Ted" Minior, with whom she shared 41 wonderful years together.Born in Lawrence, MA, the daughter of Maria (Salerno) Bruzzese and the late Frank Bruzzese, Mary was a graduate of St. Mary's High School. Mary was a proud alumna of the last graduating class of Lowell Tech (UMass Lowell), continuing her education and receiving her Master's in Business Administration from Southern New Hampshire University. Mary had distinguished career in finance; working for Wang, Hewlitt Packard, and most notably over 25 years working at Kronos, where she retired from in 2018 as Senior Director of Finance.Outgoing and social by nature, Mary loved to surround herself with family and friends. With Ted by her side, Mary was a summer fixture along the shores of Lake Winnipesaukee for the last 33 years. The massive network of friends expanded in the last ten years, as Mary and Ted spent their winters in Myrtle Beach, where Mary filled her days with walks along the beach and a newfound love for golf. She was a constant source of comfort, wisdom, and laughter. Mary found joy in traveling the world with her husband and made friends everywhere she went. Above all, Mary loved her family more than anything else. Mary cherished Sunday dinners with her parents, siblings, and nephews. Salem - Alexander F. Byron Jr, 95, of Salem, NH and previously of Andover, MA. passed away on Wednesday, May 29th, 2024, at the Salemhaven Nursing Center.He was born on December 5, 1928, to Eugenia (Beaudet) and Alexander Byron Sr. Alexander was raised in Lawrence, MA, attended local schools and went on to attend Central Catholic High School, where he was the Quarterback for the football team as well as playing baseball. He graduated in 1947 and took courses at the Franklin Institute of Electronics. Alexander married the love of his life on July 3, 1949, and the couple raised their family in Lawrence, MA. He spent his career working as a Quality Control Analyst for Western Electric, now Lucent Technologies, until his retirement in 1986.Alexander was a life member and Range Officer of the Andover Sportsmen Club and the Lawrence Rod and Gun Club, where he had served as Club President. He had a love for sports, whether it was hunting, fishing, target practicing, football, or baseball and played as a catcher for the CYO baseball team and coached in the Methuen Little League for many years.He was very proud of his family, beginning with his father and his decorated service as a Captain in the United States Army Cavalry Division, displaying his father's medals on the walls of his home. He adored his wife, or as he often referred to her, his best friend. Alex cared for her in their home until 2018. Haverhill - Joanna (Liefield) Brown, 81, died peacefully at the High Pointe Hospice House in Haverhill surrounded by the love and prayers of family and friends.She was born in Manhattan, NYC, the only child of Edward Liefield and Susie (Persico) Liefield. She attended schools in NYC, graduated from St. John's University with a degree in English and began working on Wall Street.She then met and married the love of her life and naval corpsman Dennis Brown. Together they traveled to Key West, FL, Methuen, MA, and eventually settled down in Bradford, MA, where they raised their three children.Joanna loved to read, cook and travel. Her breadth of knowledge and joy for learning was unstoppable, as was her faith, even in the toughest times.She was many things throughout her life: PTO parent, CCD catechist, substitute teacher, community activist, Sacred Heart food pantry volunteer, and ostomy support volunteer at Anna Jaques Hospital. Haverhill - Salvatore J. "Sal" Amari, 98, formerly of Haverhill, passed away on Wednesday, May 29 at the Lutheran Rehabilitation and Skilled Care Center in Worcester.Sal was born in Utica, New York the son of Joseph and Lena (Durso) Amari. A veteran of WWII, Sal served 16 months overseas under command General George Patton Co. A, 330th Infantry Regiment, the battles of Rhineland, Ardennes, and Central Europe. After the end of the War, he was assigned to the Army of Occupation in Germany before being discharged March 31, 1946. He had been drafted November 9, 1943 at age eighteen. Sal was employed for 26 years at the Boston Navy Yard as an Engineering Draftsman, retiring in 1974 when the facility was closed.A resident of the Mount Washington district of Haverhill for 78 years, he volunteered in neighborhood committees to promote improvement projects and in parish activities at St. Rita's Church until its closing. He was very active in the Italian community as the Historian of the Victor Emanuel Lodge, Order of the Sons of Italy. Many of his historical accounts are in the Special Collections section of the Haverhill Public Library. Sal has been the recipient of many awards and citations for his service to the Italian community. In an article by Gazette staff writer, Tom Vartabedian, on June 1, 1992 Sal was referred to as "Senior is Heartbeat of Italian Community".As a musician, Sal has been a member of the Lodge's Drum Corps as a drummer and instructor since 1948. Since 1965, he has been a drummer for Haverhill City Band and a member of the Haverhill Musician's Union, Local 302.Sal studied art in Boston, graduating from Scott Carbee School of Fine Arts and the School of Practical Art. He taught art classes at YWCA in 1950 and since 1997 as a substitute teacher in the Haverhill schools. He is a former member of the Greater Haverhill Art Association.Sal leaves behind his nephew, John A. Ranieri of Lancaster, MA, his brother Anthony J. Amari and his wife, Debra of Lakewood, New Mexico and a first cousin Peter Artale and his wife, Helga of Franklin, MA. He was predeceased by his sister Frances M. Andover - Mrs. Frances Claire (Crowley) Hennessey of Andover and Manchester-by-the-Sea, beloved wife of 53 years of the late David J. Hennessey, died peacefully Sunday, May 26, 2024 at home surrounded by her loving family.Born in Everett, January 19, 1945, Frances is the daughter of the late John and Claire Crowley. After being raised and educated in Somerville and Malden, Frances attended and graduated from Cheverus Catholic High School in Malden (Sisters of Providence). She continued her education and worked herself through Emmanual College in Boston earning her Bachelor's Degree in Science/Biology. It was in these years she met and married her love, David. After working as a teacher of nursing students in the Boston area, she and David joined the Peace Corps and shortly thereafter began their new family. David's career brought them to relocate to Puerto Rico with their first three children. Prior to the birth of their fourth child they settled in Andover Massachusetts where Frances raised the children at home. Frances was committed to her faith and actively participated in pilgrimages to the Vatican in Rome, as well as supported many World Youth Days for her family. Frances and David had a love for the ocean; many summers were spent in Gloucester at Wingaersheek Beach where they had had their first "date", and they enjoyed family days and cook-outs in Manchester-by-the-Sea, Rockport, Salisbury, Hampton, NH and York, Maine. Methuen - Eugene W. Zabierek, 93, a longtime resident of Methuen, passed away peacefully on May 27, 2024 at High Point Hospice House.Eugene was predeceased by his wife, Bertha. Eugene and Bertha celebrated 65 years of marriage with two children. He was born in Dracut, MA on June 20, 1930 to the late Anthony and Aniela (Kaczmarczyk) Zabierek.Eugene was proud to have served in the United States Air Force during the Korean War. Upon his return, he began his 38-year career with Western Union Telegraph. After taking early retirement, he began his second career, for 25 years, as the Chief Grounds man at Holy Family Hospital.Eugene married Bertha on September 11, 1954 during hurricane Edna. Although the storm delayed the wedding for more than 10 hours, a determined groom made his way to his bride and they were married by candlelight. Eugene was a devoted husband, father, grandfather and great-grandfather. When he was not spending time with his family, he could be found riding his John Deer tractor or working in his garden. He was a farmer at heart.Eugene was predeceased by his loving grandson, Aaron, who he fondly nicknamed Charlie. She was a surrogate mother to many and a dedicated caregiver to her Uncle Frank for many years until his passing. Afterwards, she cared forVerda Ajousian until her passing. She volunteered at the Children's Gathering Day School in Wakefield, and provided companionship to friends and family during their final days on hospice. Gloria found joy in cooking, singing, country music, dancing, walking on the beach, boating, reading, shopping, and traveling.Known for her exceptional generosity, Gloria touched the lives of both family, friends and strangers alike. She was famous for her random acts of kindness. Gloria held her family dearly in her heart and She introduced herself to every new baby in our family, held in her arms singing. She was born in Sanford, ME, on August 2, 1943, daughter of the late Adrien and Helen (Dawson) Drouin.She attended Amesbury High school and went on to Northern Essex Community College where she earned a business degree. She had worked at AT&T/Lucent for many years as a secretary until her retirement. She enjoyed traveling, dancing, and skiing. Sun City West - Patricia A. (Carson) Graham, 79, passed away peacefully in her home in Sun City West, AZ, on May 23, 2024, with her loving daughter Kelly at her side. Pat was born in Lawrence, MA, on July 28, 1944, to the late James and Helen Carson. Pat was preceded in death by her loving husband, Kenneth F Graham. She leaves her daughter Kelly Reasons, husband Philip, son Michael Graham, and granddaughters Kendra Graham and Amanda Reasons. Bellingham - Rosemarie A. (Bourneuf) Demarais, 93, formerly of Haverhill, passed away peacefully on Monday, May 27 surrounded by family at her home in Bellingham, MA.Rose was born in Haverhill on July 6, 1930, to Ralph Bourneuf and Agnes Ambrose. Full of energy and always learning Rose worked as a Sales Representative for Ciba Giegy selling medical equipment, and retired from this company at the age of 70. True to herself, Rose worked at various other jobs, such as working at the desk at a dental office until she was 80. She never stopped moving forward and never stopped learning something new. Rose was an avid reader with a library of books including many on the history of the US as well as mysteries and crime novels. She was immensely proud of her French roots and read many books on the emigration of her family from France to Nova Scotia, finally settling in Haverhill. Growing up during the big band era, Rose was a lover of music and dancing. Her favorites include Ella Fitzgerald and Sarah Vaughn which brought her many years of joy.The family wishes to send thanks to the Tri Valley Elder Services, VNA & Hospice Center as well as Dana Farber Cancer Institute for their care and compassion as well as many neighbors who showed their love.Rosemarie is survived by her son Stephen A. Groveland - Marguerite "Midge" (Faucon) Jarvis, longtime resident of West Newbury and recently of Groveland, MA, passed away on May 17, 2024 at Brigham and Women's Hospital in Boston, MA after a brave battle with cancer. She was predeceased by her husband Edward L. Jarvis Sr. She is survived by her children Edward "Ned" Jarvis Jr., Christine Dickinson and husband Mark, and Susan Benoit. Atkinson - Dr. Kirwan Thomas MacMillan, MD, 95, of Atkinson, NH and formerly of Bradford, MA passed away peacefully on Sunday, May 26, 2024, at his residence surrounded by his loving family.Dr. MacMillan was born in Detroit, MI, on October 9, 1928, son of the late Edward J. and Catherine H. (Hogan) MacMillan and as a child moved to Everett, MA with his family.Dr. MacMillan is predeceased by his loving wife Dorothy M. (Goodreau) who passed away in 2016 with whom he shared 64 wonderful years of Marriage.Dr. MacMillan is also survived by his eight children; daughters Donna Raciti and husband David of Salem NH, Susan MacMillan of Atkinson, NH, Lisa Mullen, and husband Shawn of Windham NH; sons, Thomas and wife Joy of Brentwood NH, Michael and Fiancé Francine Fazio of Fremont NH, Douglas and wife Lisa of Salem NH, Robert and wife Deborah of The Woodlands, TX, Philip and wife Donna of Haverhill MA. He would immediately go on to serve our country in the United States Army at the age of 17. He was stationed in San Francisco until 1949 when he entered Boston College where he graduated with the class of 1952. He went on to Tufts School of Medicine graduating in 1956.Dr. MacMillan started his medical career in the US Army being stationed at Letterman Army Hospital, San Francisco, Brooke Army Medical Center, San Antonio, TX; Tripler Army Hospital, Honolulu, HI and Martin Army Hospital, Columbus, GA. After leaving the US Army, Dr. MacMillan and his family settled in Haverhill, MA where he joined Dr. Albert B. Consentino in private practice in 1964. In 1966 Dr. MacMillan was a founding member of Pentucket Medical Associates located on Summer Street before moving to its present location at One Parkway in Haverhill with various satellite offices opened throughout the Merrimack Valley. He was a president of the Merrimack Valley Chapter of the American Heart Association. He was also a member of the Rotary Club of Haverhill and various physician organizations.During the course of his 50 plus year career in the Merrimack Valley, he was board certified in internal medicine, and practiced in cardiology, endocrinology and nuclear medicine. He was instrumental in getting the new Hale Hospital built on Lincoln Avenue in Haverhill and established the cutting edge Nuclear Medicine Department located within. He lovingly took care of multiple generations of families from Haverhill and surrounding communities. He was old school in his approach to treating the whole person and their concerned families.Kirwan was a history buff and a lifelong seeker of knowledge. He enjoyed Sailing, especially with his boys on his sailboat the Aeolus, as well as with his physician colleagues. He loved skiing, and spent countless winter seasons at Waterville Valley where each weekend would include being surrounded by his many children and grandchildren on the slopes. He loved travelling and stepped on every continent in the world, having travelled to Antarctica in his 80's. He was an avid student of the stock market. Above all else, he enjoyed spending time with his family, and being a devoted and loving husband, a guiding and caring father, and the best "Papa" a grandchild or great grandchild could ask for. Kirwan was a one of a kind personality, bigger than life, yet down to earth at the same time. He regaled friends and family with many interesting stories of his incredibly amazing life. Salem - Robert R. Eichhorn Sr, 90, died from congestive heart failure May 22, 2024, at home surrounded by family. He was the son of Raymond and Andrea Eichhorn. Bob graduated from Searles High School, Class of 1952. Following graduation, he served as a Gunner's Mate in the U.S. Navy onboard USS Haynsworth DD 700, during the Korean War. After release from service, he went on to Dunwoody College of Culinary Arts before returning home to work with his father at the family bakery. In 1955, he married Carolyn Ward, and they settled in Salem NH where they raised their 5 sons. Bob was a member of the Derry-Salem Elks #2226, VFW Post 8546, and Salem-Pelham Fish and Game Club. He was also a Shriner and Master Mason. He loved fishing, hunting and making people laugh. Bob was predeceased by his parents, wife, Carolyn, sister, Madeline (Eichhorn) StLaurent, and daughter-in-law, Margaret Eichhorn.He is survived by his five sons, Robert Eichhorn Jr, Eric Eichhorn, Karl Eichhorn and his wife, Theresa, John Eichhorn, and Richard Eichhorn and his wife, Karen; his three grandchildren, Alicia (Eichhorn) Harrison, Kristopher Eichhorn, and Chrissy Eichhorn, in addition to 3 great grandchildren.There will be a private graveside service. East Hampstead - Robert A. Robertson, 89, of East Hampstead, NH, passed away on Monday, May 27, 2024, at Exeter Hospital. Bob was born on November 3, 1934, in Troy, NY, to the late William and Mabel (Jenkins) Robertson.Bob attended Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute in Troy, NY. He then began his career working for General Electric for over twenty years, ultimately achieving a General Manager position. After his time at General Electric, he joined Textron, as a President in Optoelectronics and General Manager at Babco Textron. He then started his own management consulting business, where he became President for General Dynamics, Sunbeam Corporation and Fairchild Fasteners. Before his retirement, he operated as Chief Operating Officer for the Insurance Technology Services of America and President at Consumer Insurance Services of America.In Bob's spare time, he thoroughly enjoyed to golf and ski, and was a member of the Georgetown Country Club.Bob is survived by his loving wife of 37 years, Donna (Dussault) Robertson; his son Scott and his wife Debra Green of Newbury, MA; his grandchildren Paige, Jack, Ben, Kyle and Nick; his great-grandchild Addison; and his brother Dr. Donald Robertson. Salem - Jules "Jay" Bauters, 92, passed away on May 21, 2024 at Holy Family Hospital after a period of failing health. Jay grew up in Lawrence and was the son of the late Raymond Bauters and the late Argentine Mary (Gisquiere) Benson. Jay served in the U.S. Air Force from 1951 to 1955 and worked for Western Electric/Lucent Technologies for many years. He took early retirement to care for his son John. Jay loved to dance and fish, and loved playing cards with his wife and their friends. He enjoyed daily breakfast at Sammy J's and he made many friends there as well. Jay is survived by his children, Susan Tisbert of Pelham, NH and Jay Bauters of Salem, NH; his sister, Nancy Ferguson and husband, Alan of Bridgewater, MA; his grandsons, Michael Fecteau of Pelham, NH and Matthew Tisbert of Maine; his six great grandchildren and many nieces, nephews and cousins. Jay lost the love of his life, Doris, in September of 2023 after almost 70 years of marriage. Atkinson - John M. Wolters, 88, a resident of Atkinson for over 20 years, died Saturday, May 25, 2024 at his home, surrounded by his family.Born in Bay Ridge , NY, the son of the late John M. Wolters and the late Frances (Cacase) (Wolters) Playford, he graduated from New York University with his Bachelor of Science Degree in Business. A successful entrepreneur, Mr. Wolters was a national merchandising manager for Marshalls and later became a real estate developer, a general contractor and a Certified Financial Planner.A former resident of Windham before moving to Atkinson, Mr. Wolters also enjoyed spending the winter months in Arizona. He was an avid fisherman and hunter, and served on the Condominium Association Board where he lived and the Atkinson Planning Board for several years.He will be sadly missed and lovingly remembered by his loving wife of 67 years, Joan (Winkler) Wolters, three sons, John M.
