POSITION: Assistant Talent Buyer

Across our portfolio of live event venues and corporate offices, we are looking for an Assistant Talent Buyer at ASM Global/Madison Entertainment.

Essential Duties And Responsibilities

• Coordinate the distribution of “Submission Requests” to agents and agencies for the procurement of artists to perform at venues, events, festivals, concert series,’ etc.
• Collect/collate submissions for distribution to ASM/Madison Entertainment buyer(s)
• Follow up on outstanding Artist offers.
• Distribute ticket counts (when approved/appropriate).
• Communicate information to agents and clients as needed.
• Research Artists for the purpose of determining their value for specific events/shows.
• Assist in building offers for Talent Buyers.
• Coordinating meetings and appointments with clients/buyers.
• Daily overview of client show calendars for the purpose of identifying potential opportunities.
• Research artist routing and shows around client venues to find possible opportunities.
• Taking notes during meetings when needed.

ResponsibilitiesSupervisory Responsibilities Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with ASM's policies and applicable laws. Supervisory responsibilities include overseeing interns when needed.

EducationEducation and/or Experience

• 4-year college degree preferred, but not required.

Skills And Abilities

• Strong knowledge of and experience with Word, Excel & PowerPoint.
• Able to research and disseminate information/data quickly and in an organized fashion.
• Strong writing skills.
• Strong knowledge of shared Google docs and apps.
• Some music industry knowledge or experience would be an asset but not required.
